Terms of Use and Community Guidelines

These terms describe the rules for using RecipeFork. They apply when RecipeFork presents them as applicable to an account or feature. If you do not agree when they are presented, do not create the account or use that feature. Publishing these terms does not by itself record or imply that existing users agreed to them earlier.

You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you cannot enter an agreement where you live, you need permission from a parent or legal guardian.

RecipeFork does not currently offer paid creator, compensation, campaign, contract, or payout features. If any such feature is activated later, it will be for people 18 or older and may have additional terms and verification. An ordinary account does not create a right to compensation.

Keep your account credentials secure and give RecipeFork accurate account information.

You retain your rights in content you submit. You give RecipeFork non-exclusive permission to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and technically adapt it only as needed to operate the service and your visibility or collaboration choices. If you deliberately publish content as eligible for discovery or forking, this includes public display and user-chosen forks with an attribution and lineage path.

This permission does not allow RecipeFork to sell your recipes, train or fine-tune an artificial-intelligence model with them, place them in a paid creator or payment campaign, or create a broad new commercial license. Each such use would require separate, clearly presented permission or terms.

Submit only content you have the right to use. Do not infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights, or remove or falsify RecipeFork's source-credit path.

Do not use RecipeFork to break the law; harass, threaten, exploit, or impersonate someone; publish unlawful or malicious material; expose private information; bypass access controls; scrape protected areas; interfere with the service; distribute malware; or manipulate attribution, safety, or account controls.

RecipeFork may restrict content, features, or accounts when reasonably necessary to protect people, rights, data, or reliability.

Recipes, pairings, substitutions, automated suggestions, and community content require your judgment. They are not medical, nutrition, allergy, food-safety, or other professional advice or a guarantee of safety or suitability. Check labels, allergies, dietary needs, trusted food-safety guidance, and the needs of the people eating the dish.

Features may change or be suspended for maintenance, security, safety, or reliability.
